News & Events Thursday, July 23, 2009 ULI Young Leaders Developer Talk and Tour: The Vistana with Ed Cross
Exclusively for a limited number of ULI San Antonio Young Leaders: an inside look at The Vistana and a talk with its owner/developer, Ed Cross. The Vistana brings new vibrancy downtown, as the first new Class A construction, mixed-use high-rise apartment project in downtown San Antonio in more than 10 years. It is located on an entire city block between Houston and Commerce Streets and bordered by historic Market Square and Milam Park. The majority of residents are new downtown dwellers who have relocated from the suburbs or out of state. The 30,000 square feet of retail on the first floor includes Sterling Bank and, just announced, IHOP Cafe. Other contemplated retail uses are pharmacy, dining and other service-oriented retailers. Edward A. Cross, II is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Cross & Company, a San Antonio-based commercial real estate firm established in 1998.
