QUALIFIED TEAMS BEING SOUGHT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MASTER PLAN FOR HEMISFAIR The HemisFair Park Area Redevelopment Corporation (HPARC) has commenced the solicitation process for qualified teams for a master plan for HemisFair. The resulting Master Plan will become an integral planning element for the HPARC and is expected to be codified into the City of San Antonio's existing Master Plan. A request for qualifications was issued on May 6, 2010. Submittals will be due on June 4, 2010. The most qualified design teams will be selected for further participation in the selection process and will be invited to submit a detailed proposal for completion of an itemized scope of work with specified deliverables. The RFQ is posted on the American Planning Association website at the following address: The Master Plan effort will be managed and led by HPARC, a local government corporation which was created by the City of San Antonio to manage and oversee the redevelopment of the HemisFair Park and its surrounding area.
